DUDE Wipes was founded by lifelong friends out of their apartment in Chicago in 2011. Their origin story is not like most companies. This brand was born out of late-night sessions over beers, funny
conversations, and genuine friendship. The founders appeared on ‘Shark Tank’ in 2015 to raise the Company’s only outside capital in a suspenseful, must-see deal with Mark Cuban.
Today, DUDE Wipes is the fastest-growing brand in the $10bn+ U.S. bathroom issue industry, rapidly taking share from legacy players & bringing innovation to stale categories in the bathroom. As the only
naive brand to the wet toilet issue segment of the bathroom issue category, DUDE Wipes is disrupting toilet paper through superior products and strong consumer engagement using humor and boldness to
create trust that is driving consumer habit change in the bathroom.
In 2022 alone, DUDE Wipes continues to wipe up the competition as demonstrated by the following:
DUDE Products works with major retailers and distribution centers and requires a well-structured, robust approach to cybersecurity. Additionally, as the company grew, their operations moved from an apartment to an office, and the efforts needed to secure user access and day-to-day operations grew increasingly complex. Proper security posture and ongoing management were also required in order to obtain cybersecurity insurance.
DUDE Products received a recommendation for Netrix from a trusted colleague. The company found that Netrix had the experts to fulfill their needs.
DUDE Products IT infrastructure is fully cloud-based, and the company needed to protect and secure access to their various business-critical applications. Netrix conducted a comprehensive discovery design, resulting in several recommendations.
Securing Remote Workforce & New Office Location
Netrix implemented the necessary security policies to secure DUDE Products’ remote workforce. The new security structure included Cisco Secure Access Service Edge and Cisco Meraki Umbrella Secure Internet Gateway as well as onboarding all mobile users and various mobile devices, enabling secure connection to DUDE Products’ different resources, including NetSuite, Bill.com, Fifth Third Bank, Chase, Dropbox, Amazon, Walmart, American Express.
DUDE Products moved into a new office and required the same level of secure access in the downtown Chicago location. Netrix deployed a complete Meraki stack, including on-premises Meraki firewalls with Secure Internet Gateway, wireless, and switching. This resulted in standardized security stack policies with the same filtering for both on-site and mobile users.
Managed Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)
The Netrix team of cybersecurity and network experts designed and implemented SASE, a cloud-based approach to simplifying network management and security capabilities. SASE consolidates DUDE
Products’ security stack by converging solutions into a cloud-delivered, software-defined model. SASE fits in the middle and ties it all together. SASE also meets many of the requirements for cybersecurity insurance, helping DUDE Products remain compliant.
SASE delivers a single, comprehensive platform to tackle challenges such as monitoring network traffic flows, enforcing consistent security policies, and maintaining centralized visibility. These capabilities include security tools like secure web gateways (SWGs) and firewall as a service (FWaaS) solutions.
Fully Managed Security Solution, 24x7x365
After implementing the technology, Netrix continues to support DUDE Products by fully managing each solution, including the day-to-day responsibilities, via the Netrix 24x7x365 technical operations center.
With Netrix managed services, DUDE Products is able to offload the responsibilities of day-to-day management and support monitoring, enabling the company to continue focusing on developing
