DUDE Wipes was founded by lifelong friends out of their apartment in Chicago in 2011. Their origin story is not like most companies. This brand was born out of late-night sessions over beers, funny
conversations, and genuine friendship. The founders appeared on ‘Shark Tank’ in 2015 to raise the Company’s only outside capital in a suspenseful, must-see deal with Mark Cuban.

DUDE Products works with major retailers and distribution centers and requires a well-structured, robust approach to cybersecurity. Additionally, as the company grew, their operations moved from an apartment to an office, and the efforts needed to secure user access and day-to-day operations grew increasingly complex. Proper security posture and ongoing management were also required in order to obtain cybersecurity insurance.

Securing Remote Workforce & New Office Location
Netrix implemented the necessary security policies to secure DUDE Products’ remote workforce. The new security structure included Cisco Secure Access Service Edge and Cisco Meraki Umbrella Secure Internet Gateway as well as onboarding all mobile users and various mobile devices, enabling secure connection to DUDE Products’ different resources, including NetSuite, Bill.com, Fifth Third Bank, Chase, Dropbox, Amazon, Walmart, American Express.
DUDE Products moved into a new office and required the same level of secure access in the downtown Chicago location. Netrix deployed a complete Meraki stack, including on-premises Meraki firewalls with Secure Internet Gateway, wireless, and switching. This resulted in standardized security stack policies with the same filtering for both on-site and mobile users.
