Netrix Global IBM Power Virtual Server and Wintel Managed Services Offering Now Available in the IBM Cloud Catalog

Comprehensive modernization and managed operations for IBM i and Wintel environments, expanding on a service historically delivered by Ricoh for more than a decade.

Netrix Global, a provider of cybersecurity, cloud, and digital transformation services, has made its IBM® Power® Virtual Server (PowerVS) and Wintel Managed Services Offering available within the IBM Cloud Catalog. The offering is designed to deliver a unified suite of managed services for IBM i and Wintel environments and to help enable organizations to modernize mission-critical workloads with enterprise-grade operations, resiliency, and 24×7×365 support.

The offering extends a service historically performed by Ricoh’s IT Services organization for more than a decade, prior to Netrix’s acquisition of Ricoh’s U.S. IT Services business in 2025. This long-standing operational expertise now expands under Netrix’s broader engineering, cybersecurity, and cloud capabilities.

Netrix’s PowerVS and Wintel Managed Services provide organizations with:

  • Hosted IBM i LPAR environments with SSAE16 Type II datacenter operations
  • Automated monitoring and system administration across Standard, Gold, and Platinum tiers
  • High Availability (HA) services, including replication, annual testing, and managed failover processes
  • Backup and restore services with structured retention policies
  • Managed Wintel/Windows/Linux server operations, including patching, antivirus, and incident response
  • Managed firewall and network security services
  • 24×7×365 NOC coverage with structured escalation paths

These services are already supporting organizations across manufacturing, distribution, and retail environments. Current customers include First Option Inc. and NebraskaLand, both of which use Netrix managed IBM i and infrastructure services to improve system reliability, operational resilience, and day-to-day IT efficiency.

“Organizations running IBM i and Wintel environments need modern, cloud-aligned operations without sacrificing reliability,” said Dean Gels, CEO of Netrix Global. “By integrating these services into the IBM Cloud Catalog, we’re working to help customers scale, secure, and optimize their environments with Netrix’s engineering-led delivery model—building on the solid foundation established by Ricoh’s long-standing service history.”

This also supports Netrix’s accelerated investment in cloud infrastructure, AI-driven automation, and specialized managed operations for hybrid enterprise environments. With expanded geographic coverage, deeper technical expertise, and enhanced service scalability, Netrix continues its mission to help organizations seeking operational excellence across their core systems.
